Insulation
Your Add a Room can be insulated in two ways. Either as a summer house, or a permanent house.
Summer house
For summer houses, cellulose insulation is used. Cellulose insulation is recycable, and is produced of old newspapers. The insulation is an environmental friendly alternative to the traditional mineral wool, with the same effectiveness.
Permanent house
To keep the wall the same dimensions as the summer house standard, PIR / PUR is used. Insulation for permanent house is an add on at 22 000 DKK. Add a Room normally uses Kingspan PIR, which is marked A+ in BREEAM Green Guide.
