In which ways can I combine the modules?
In all horizontal ways! The modules can be connected with both the short-end and the long-end, with as big opening as you want. Have a play in our Online builder to get more inspiration of how you’d like to put your modules together.

Can I add a module to an existing, non Add a Room, building?
Yes you can. It varies a lot how easy or difficult it is, depending on e.g. the existing building, location and the condition of the property. Generally, it is a quite easy process, but please contact us for an estimate of how much work the specific connection requires!

Can Add a Room take care of the whole process?
Yes we can. With the experience and network from more than 10 years of delivering houses, we can arrange building permits and offers from third part companies such as delivery and foundation companies, so you can lean back and focus on other things.

How are the modules heated?
The house is heated by floor heating in the bathroom. Small electrical heater is standard. A heating system for bigger houses can be added.

Do the modules need to be painted?
The exterior do not need to be painted. If unpainted, the exterior will gradually turn into a beautiful grey tone, and also eliminate all future painting duties. More about our facade cladding

Where do Add a Room deliver?
Add a Room has so far delivered houses to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Germany, the Netherlands and are excited to add more countries to the list. Even though the houses can be shipped trans-atlantic, the most cost-effective deliveries are within Europe.
The houses are built to follow Swedish and Danish standards. If you need other requirements you will have to discuss it more carefully. Some customers from other countries buy them without electricity, plumbing and insulation plus interior walls and have that installed after by local specialists to ensure meeting the local building requirements.


