The year was 2010 when Lars Frank Nielsen drew the first sketch of Add a Rooms modules. The bestseller is was the 15 m2 <\/sup>\u00a0due to a decision in the Swedish congress a couple of years earlier that made it possible to build a 15 square meter building without a permit. 10 years later the building options have increased to 30 m2 <\/sup>, and the trend with building permit-free extra houses is spreading to other European countries!<\/p>\n

A 25 square meter home with everything needed form permanent living. The bathroom divides the house in two parts, one bedroom and one living room. The house is used as a rental house and Add a Room showroom.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

In Mols, just outside of Aarhus, we\u2019ll find Lisbeth and Palles Add a Room, named the beach-house. The beach-house consists of a 30 square meter Add a Room module, with a kitchen, bathroom and a separate bedroom.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Just outside Stockholm, we find the financial adviser Michael’s villa with associated plot. For Michael, Add a Room was an opportunity to contribute to a reduced housing shortage, at the same time as it could contribute with passive income, and in the future provide a more flexible life.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

The outdoor connected extension of a permanent house<\/h3>

A smooth addition of an extra bedroom, right next to the main house. The house is connected to the main house via a plank. The close location, without actually being interconnected internally, provides the best of both worlds.
